Digital® (AC3) or DTS, the sound system of choice

theaters. The DTS Digital Out function lets you connect
an optional DTS
decoder to your DVD-A110, bringing the amazing 5.1 channel
digital
surround sound of DTS encoded discs into your home. Dolby
Digital® and
DTS surround sound systems provide six discrete channels
of exhilarating
digital audio that together deliver the ultimate sound
experience. Also, for
your convenience, two audio output jacks are provided.
The DVD-A110's improved 10-bit digital to analog converter
(DA Converter),
performs video signal processing at a faster rate than
ever for enhanced
DVD picture quality. DVD can generate pictures in amazing
detail, thanks to
500 lines of horizontal resolution capability*, which
is more than twice that
of standard VHS tapes!
Among a host of exceptional DVD features is a special
headphone jack with
separate volume control.
