During the early Nintendo years ['86-'88] I called as many 3rd party NES developers I could find
and asked them for any promotional materials I could get my hands on. Many of them were very cool
and sent posters, manuals, flyers, and newsletters. Here are a few for your viewing pleasure..

You can also find some classic flyers and brochures in the promo section of VGO.

The Nintendo Entertainment System [NES] As seen in a 1984 Issue of Popular Science Magazine...
It looks a bit different than we remember, eh?
If Nintendo had released this version to begin with the world may not have known the fun of blowing
into our NES carts before playing and that's a world I don't want to be a part of!
It looks suspiciously similar to the Messiah Generation NEX Famiclone system released in the USA in 2003.

Here's an oldie from 1987!
I called Tecmo for help on a game, Mighty Bomb Jack, and they actually sent me a "Mighty Bomb Tips" hint sheet.
I love the hand drawn map too! :)

While some may consider the Colecovision Experience a magazine and not a newsletter.
I am sticking it here. My page, my rules :p

COLECO VISION EXPERIENCE  Vol. 1 / No. 2 (Fall 1983)

As you can see I had to do a bit of restorative work on this.
24+ years can take it's toll on paper.
